Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Mainframe mod menus.

General

What is Mainframe?

Mainframe is a free mod menu platform for PC games. We provide undetected mod menus for over 480 games, including GTA V, Valorant, Minecraft, Rust, and many more. Every menu is packed with features like god mode, aimbot, teleportation, money drops, and more.

Is Mainframe really free?

Yes, 100% free. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, no hidden fees, and no paywalled features. Every feature in every mod menu is available to everyone at no cost.

How many games do you support?

We currently support over 480 PC games. You can browse the full list on our Menus page. We're constantly adding new games based on community requests.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can download and use any mod menu without creating an account or signing up. Just pick your game, download, and play.
Installation & Usage

How do I install a mod menu?

It's simple: go to the mod menu page for your game, click the download button, and run the executable. Launch your game, then press F4 to open the mod menu overlay. That's it — no complex setup required.

How do I open the menu in-game?

Press F4 to toggle the mod menu while in-game. You can change this hotkey in the Settings tab of the menu. Use arrow keys to navigate, Enter to select, and Backspace to go back.

Do I need to run the menu before or after launching the game?

Run the Mainframe executable first, then launch your game. The menu will automatically inject when the game starts. You'll see a notification in the corner confirming it's loaded.

My antivirus flagged the download. Is it safe?

Yes, it's safe. Mod menus use injection techniques that antivirus software sometimes flags as suspicious — this is a false positive. The same thing happens with most game trainers and modding tools. You may need to add an exception in your antivirus settings to use the menu.
Safety & Detection

Will I get banned?

Our menus are designed to be undetected and we update our bypass engine in real-time. However, no mod menu can guarantee 100% safety. Using any mod in an online game carries inherent risk. We label features as "Safe", "Risky", or "Detected" so you can make informed decisions.

What anti-cheats do you bypass?

We currently bypass BattlEye, EasyAntiCheat (EAC), Vanguard, RICOCHET, PunkBuster, Fairfight, nProtect GameGuard, and Rockstar Anti-Cheat. Check our Status page for real-time bypass status.

What do the "Safe", "Risky", and "Detected" labels mean?

Safe means the feature is currently undetected and low-risk to use. Risky means it works but has a higher chance of detection if overused. Detected means the feature is currently flagged by the game's anti-cheat and using it will likely result in a ban. We update these labels constantly.
Compatibility

What platforms are supported?

Mainframe is for PC only (Windows 10 and Windows 11). We support games from Steam, Epic Games, Rockstar Launcher, Battle.net, EA App, Ubisoft Connect, and standalone launchers.

Does it work with the latest game updates?

Yes. Our auto-updater detects game patches and pushes menu updates within hours. In most cases, the menu will update itself automatically before you even notice the game changed.

Does it work on Mac or Linux?

No, Mainframe only supports Windows. Mac and Linux are not supported at this time.
Troubleshooting

The menu isn't showing up in-game. What do I do?

Make sure you run the Mainframe executable before launching the game. If it still doesn't appear, try running it as administrator. Also check that your antivirus hasn't quarantined the file.

The menu crashes my game. How do I fix it?

This usually happens after a game update. Re-download the latest version of the mod menu from our website — it may have already been updated. If the issue persists, contact us with your game name and version.

Can I use multiple mod menus at once?

No, running multiple mod menus simultaneously is not supported and will likely cause crashes or detection. Only use one mod menu per game at a time.
